With the 1 day Catba - Lan Ha - Halong bay WANDER TOUR, we do not have enough time show you all about Catba island and the Bay but we will show you almost the best part of La Ha bay and Halong bay. And make sure you will have unforgetable day trip!
Itinerary:
8:30 AM – Hostel Pick-up
Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Cat Ba Town and transfer you to Beo Harbour to begin the journey.
9:00 AM – Boat Departure & Cai Beo Floating Village
The boat departs from Beo Harbour and begins cruising through the beautiful Lan Ha Bay.
Our first stop is Cai Beo Floating Fishing Village, one of the oldest floating villages in Vietnam with a history of more than 700 years. Around 300 households live here, mainly relying on fishing and fish farming.
You will see floating houses, fish cages and learn about the daily life of local fishermen.
10:30 AM – Swimming at Ba Trai Dao Beach
The boat stops at Ba Trai Dao Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Lan Ha Bay.
Here you can:
• Swim in the clear water
• Jump from the boat
• Relax and enjoy the peaceful scenery
11:30 AM – Lunch on the Boat
Return to the boat and enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch prepared by our crew. (Vegetarian food is also available.)
12:30 PM – Cruise Between Lan Ha Bay & Ha Long Bay
After lunch, the boat will slowly cruise to the border area between Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay.
Relax on the boat and admire the spectacular limestone karst landscape. Sometimes you may also see a special giant fish weighing up to 70kg that appears in this area.
This is a perfect time to relax, take photos and enjoy the stunning view of Ha Long Bay.
2:00 PM – Kayaking Adventure
At 2:00 PM, we begin the kayaking experience.
You will paddle around limestone islands and hidden lagoons, exploring the peaceful beauty of the bay.
During kayaking we will stop at a small natural beach where you can swim, relax and take beautiful photos surrounded by nature.
3:30 PM – Second Swimming Stop (Monkey Island Area)
Return to the boat and cruise toward the Monkey Island area for the second swimming stop of the day.
Note: Depending on the tide and weather conditions, the guide may choose another nearby beach to ensure the best swimming experience.
4:15 PM – Sunset Party & Cai Beo Village
Relax on the boat and enjoy the beautiful sunset over Lan Ha Bay.
During this time we will have a sunset party with music and drinks while the boat cruises back through Cai Beo Floating Village, giving you another chance to admire the village in the golden evening light.
5:00 PM – Return to Harbour
The boat arrives back at Beo Harbor. Our bus will take you back to your hostel or hotel in Cat Ba Town.
End of the tour.

Fees will be charged in event of booking cancellations:
1. 48 Hours – 30 Days : 25% of Fare.
3. Within 24 Hours : 100% of Fare.
What do I need to bring? Your Passport, swimming gear, sunscreen, a reliable insect repellent, a camera and lots of batteries, warm clothing for the cooler months of November to March.
What days do your trip go? We are leaving every day and meet for the trip at 7:45am at our hostel.
What do I eat? Our emphasis is on fresh food wherever possible and our meals are nutritious and varied. If you are vegetarian or do not eat seafood we can cater for you, but if you have very specific dietary needs you may need to provide your own food, please discuss this at time of booking.
Do I have to reconfirm my place on the tour? Yes, you must reconfirm your place on the day before the tour departs either at the Travel Desk. If you are arriving to the hostel less than 24 hours before the departure time of the tour full payment must be made to confirm your booking.
